Club Director Kevin Nelson served as an at-large member of the Gateway Board from 2005-2010. His notes from the August 5, 2011 involving the junior program are below. A complete set of minutes may be found on the Gateway Region website, www.gatewayvb.org on the "publications" link.

1. The Board discussed changes to its due process procedures that involve misconduct by Regional members.     

2. The Board established seperate Gold/Silver and Bronze/Copper divisions for the 11's Regiional championships. Due to the increasing number of 11's teams, this was done to make scheduling easier and to allow teams to play at their appropriate ability level. 

3  The Board announced its dates for the Girl's Festival and Regional Chamionships; those dates have been posted on the Calendar.

4. The Board postponed until its December meeting a decision on changing the requirments for certifying clinicians for scorekeeping and officiating. 

5. The next Board meeting is on December 4, 2011 at  the Kirkwood Recreation Center.
