Established 2005

Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Touzinsky to Conduct Powerhitters-only Volleyball Camps June 10 and 11 - and Coaches' Clinic June 13

The Club is pleased to announce that 2008 Men's Olympic Volleyball Gold Medalist Scott Touzinsky will be hosting two camps just for Club members on June 10 and 11. The camps will be at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (SMMA), 4900 Ringer Road, St. Louis, Mo 63129.

Players may now register on-line at the Clinics link of the website. The June 10 session is for our players ages 12-14 this season, and the June 11 session is for our 15's-17's. Additional camp details are at the link.

This is an extraordinary opportunity not offered to other Regional Clubs, and will assist our teams as they prepare for the USAV National Championships in New Orleans later that month.

Scott will also meet with the coaching staff on June 13, sharing his insights from his collegiate All-American, 11 year professional, and National team experiences.

Welcome to the St. Louis Powerhitters Volleyball Club website, a proud member of the Premier Invitational League! We trust  that it will prove informative and useful. Materials are continuously updated as we celebrate our successes of this past year, and plan for the upcoming 2014-15 season. This is our 10th season as a Club, making us one of the oldest and most established within the Gateway Region.

News of a general Club nature may be found at the Club News & Events link. Team-specific information, such as rosters, and player photographs and profiles, may be found on that Team's home page. All major events and deadlines are placed on the Calendar link, and the website is updated daily.

We are proud of the fact that the Club qualified a team for the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships in Dallas for the 2007-08  season in but our second year of sponsoring a Girl's program. Based on that early success, we continue to be one of the premier junior girl's programs in the Gateway Region. We look forward to an exciting 2014-15 season.

We cordially invite you to return often for updated information....Kevin Nelson, Club Director

The website is accurate through 9:00 a.m. on June 1, 2015.

This acceptance follows the 14's-16's playing last year in Minneapolis, where they were but one of ten Clubs from the Region to participate. The Club is already looking forward to the 2016 Championships in Indianapolis, where it again intends to send its 13's-17's teams.

14's-16's Played at 2014 USAV Nationals

The Club is pleased to announce that the above three teams played in the Patriot Division at the 2014 USAV Junior Girl's National Championships in Minneapolis. Of the approximate 140 clubs in the Gateway Region, we were but one of 10 that sent teams to Nationals. Pictures are on the Photos link. Players and parents enjoyed the fact that the all-inclusive Club fee meant that they spent nothing on paying for the coaches' travel expenses, distinguishing the Club from others. Pictured below is the 15's team.
